Win With 3M & Sheq Safety – Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Sheq Safety cc, in partnership with 3M South Africa (Pty) Ltd (collectively referred to as “the Promoters”).

  1. Competition Period

The competition runs from 17 October 2025 to 12 December 2025.
Entries open every Friday at 09:00 (SAST) and close the following Friday at 08:59 (SAST).
The Grand Prize draw will take place on 16 January 2026.

  1. Eligibility
  • Open to legal residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older.
  • Only individual entries are allowed (no companies, groups, bots, or bulk entries).
  • Employees, directors, and agents of the Promoters (and their families or affiliates) are not eligible.
  • Entrants must have a valid South African ID, email address, and mobile number.
  • Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
  1. How to Enter
  • Visit sheqsafety.co.za/winwith3M and complete the weekly quiz.
  • One entry per person per week. Duplicate entries (same name, email, or mobile) will be removed.
  • Each correct quiz submission qualifies the entrant for:
    • That week’s prize draw; and
    • Automatic entry into the Grand Prize draw.
  • No purchase necessary to enter or win.
  1. Weekly Prizes
  • Weekly winners will be selected by a random electronic draw from all correct entries.
  • Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash.
  • The Promoters reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or higher value if necessary.
  • Prizes may differ from images used in promotional material.
  1. Grand Prize – Zanzibar Holiday Package
  • The Grand Prize includes return flights and accommodation for two persons to Zanzibar, arranged through the Promoters’ appointed travel agent.
  • The winner must:
    • Provide a valid passport and obtain any required visa or travel documents.
    • Arrange transport to and from the departure airport.
    • Liaise directly with the travel agent to finalise travel arrangements.
  • The prize covers all inclusive package to the value of R51 000.00. All other expenses (meals, upgrades, excursions, insurance, etc.) are for the winner’s account.
  • The winner is strongly advised to purchase travel insurance at their own cost.
  • The Promoters accept no responsibility for:
    • Missed flights, visa denials, or cancellations,
    • Delays due to weather, pandemics, or government restrictions.
  • In case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., pandemics, disasters, airline strikes), the Promoters may postpone, amend, or replace the prize without liability.
  1. Zanzibar Travel Requirements
  • Subject to availability at time of booking.
  • The Zanzibar infrastructure tax (USD 5 per person per night) and mandatory inbound travel insurance (USD 44) are for the winner’s own account.
  • The winner must comply with all local health, safety, and immigration regulations.
  1. Winner Selection & Notification
  • Weekly draws will be live-streamed on Sheq Safety’s social media pages.
  • Winners will be notified via email and/or mobile.
  • If a winner cannot be reached within 7 days, the prize will be forfeited and redrawn.
  • The Promoters’ decision is final and binding, with no correspondence entered into.
  1. Verification
  • The Promoters reserve the right to verify identity, eligibility, and contact details.
  • Providing false or misleading information will result in disqualification.
  • Winners may be required to sign a release or acceptance form prior to receiving their prize.
  1. Data Privacy (POPIA)
  • Personal data is used only for competition administration and winner contact.
  • Data will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties outside the Promoters.
  • All data is processed in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
  • For data requests or deletion, contact privacy@sheqsafety.co.za.
  1. Disqualification & Misconduct
  • The Promoters may disqualify any entry suspected of fraud, cheating, or technical tampering.
  • Automated entries or multiple entries using fake or alternate details will be void.
  • The Promoters may suspend, cancel, or amend the competition in case of technical, system, or integrity issues.
  1. Liability
  • Entrants and winners participate at their own risk.
  • The Promoters and partners are not liable for:
    • Loss, injury, or damage arising from participation or use of any prize;
    • Technical issues, data corruption, or third-party failures.
  • No warranties or guarantees are offered regarding prize performance or quality.
  1. Publicity Consent
  • By entering, participants consent to the use of their name, image, and likeness in future marketing, without additional compensation.
  • Winners may be asked to participate in reasonable promotional activities.
  • Any voluntarily submitted testimonials, images, or videos may be reused with proper credit.
  1. Amendments & Cancellation
  • The Promoters may amend or cancel the competition or Terms at any time without prior notice.
  • Updates will be published on sheqsafety.co.za/winwith3M.
  • No compensation will be due if the competition is suspended or cancelled due to circumstances beyond the Promoters’ control.
  1. Compliance & Fairness
  • The competition complies with the Consumer Protection Act (No. 68 of 2008) and applicable promotional marketing codes.
  • All draws are random, independently auditable, and conducted fairly.
  1. Jurisdiction
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in South African courts.
  1. Acceptance

By participating, entrants confirm they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
Entry constitutes full and unconditional agreement with all rules and decisions made by the Promoters.
